V2 Dual Color

V2 Dual Color
Designed specifically for law enforcement, the V2 Dual-Color is a tactical light with red LED setting to preserve night vision. Because hitting the "wrong" switch color can mean compromising the mission, each one - red and white - has a unique switch textured for recognition by touch. Lightweight, powerful, and very versatile, this is one of the brightest (or not) lights out there.

Comments about V2 Dual Color:

I work in law enforcement and I'm also in the military. The idea of a compact yet bright LED dual color light was very appealing to me. After placing the provided pouch on my duty belt, the first time I attempted to use it it was dead. Apparently it doesn't take much at all to initiate the on/off buttons placed on the side of the flashlight. The buttons should have either been recessed or, they should require more pressure to turn them on. I replaced the batteries and decided to give it a second try, this time being more careful about how it was placed on my duty belt and in the pouch itself. Sure enough, the next time I tried to use it, it was dead again. The buttons had been unintentionally depressed. This should be marketed more for casual use, NOT tactical use. Whoever designed this I'm going to assume has ZERO tactical military or law enforcement experience.

On a side note, other than the terribly designed on/off feature, I think the flashlight is well made and extremely bright for the size. Too bad I won't be using it.
